Want to experience bVIEW for yourself? Do you think you can form the next Israeli government? Do you ever wish that people would listen to your ideas for Middle East peace?

Come to our first conference on Sunday, January 27th!

The bVIEW 2013 conference aims to bring together young leaders and aspiring leaders to change discourse regarding Israel on American college campuses, for a better future for Israel and the region. During the conference, you will engage leading experts in conversations about Israeli society, national security, coexistence efforts, diaspora relations and culture. Since the conference is entirely student-focused, it provides you unique access to the thinkers and actors directly engaging with Israel professionally.

However, bVIEW is unlike any other conference because it is about you, and about your ideas, identity and thoughts. Only by bringing together creative students of various opinions and backgrounds who care deeply about what is happening within the region can we make a change.

You may have vast knowledge regarding Israel, or, these may be your first steps in learning about the country. You may have a warm place in your heart for Israel—you may not.  You may care the most for the future of Israel as a democratic state, as a Jewish state, or as both. You may care about the future of a Palestinian State.  You may have been born in Israel and raised in the United States or born here and raised in Pakistan.  You may be Jewish or not. No matter what brought you to bVIEW, your voice matters.

Therefore, in addition to hearing from the experts, you will hear from each other - the next generation of experts. Therefore, some sessions will be simulations, student-led discussions and interactive activities. You can try building the next Israeli governing coalition, determining the direction of the Israeli social justice movement or developing a policy addressing the Iranian nuclear threat. Don't forget to enter the video competition and share your vision with everyone.

Conference Guidelines:

Although anyone is welcome to attend the bVIEW conference, it is specifically designed with university students in mind. The conference has programs for people with a wide variety of backgrounds and knowledge about the Middle East. Some sessions are built with those who follow current events and Middle East politics regularly, others are built for people who are new to the subject area. Regardless of where you fall on this spectrum, there will be something for you.The conference is highly interactive, so be ready to participate!

Non-students are more than welcome to attend, however we will be charging them $20 at the door to cover the cost of food. Additional donations are welcome.

All participants are highly encouraged to stay for the entire day in order to get the full bVIEW experience. We will be serving food and promise to make your time worth it!

If you are an undergraduate student and need financial assistance getting to the conference from New England, some limited scholarships may be available on a first come first serve basis. However, we will prioritize pairs or groups of students who are involved with different Israel-related clubs on their respective campuses. For more information, email [email protected]
