As part of the bVIEW conference taking place in January, 2013, we would like to give students a chance to let their voices be heard in a public forum.

Competition Guidelines

1.     Answer the above prompt in a 3 minute Youtube video. Your vision can be about any facet of Israel—internationally or         domestically. What matters to you most? Use your imagination! The videos should be about content and not the quality         of the film.

2.     Submit the video by January 15th, 2013 to [email protected], with the subject line “Bview video competition.”

3.     On the 15th we will post the videos on Facebook and on our website. You have between the 15th and January 18th at              midnight to try to get as many “likes” on your video on facebook as possible. Do not send us anything you do not feel             comfortable posting online.

4.     The top 5 videos with the most likes will be reviewed by a panel of students, professors and experts, to be announced at         a later date, who will select the top 3 videos.

5.     The people with the top 3 videos will present at the conference in front of an audience of students and a diverse panel of         Israel activists and experts. The panel will get a chance to respond and ask the students questions about their videos.

6.     Email [email protected] with all questions.

        Competition Rules

·       Each student may submit one video.

·       Each video must be submitted by an individual sharing their personal vision. Students may not submit videos on behalf         of an organization.

·       One of the 3 final spots will be reserved for a Brandeis student.

·       bVIEW reserves the right to eliminate any videos considered to be inflammatory or offensive.

·       Members of the Bview video competition team are disqualified from submitting videos or voting on facebook
